Lindsey Hayes, commercial loan operations manager, VisionBank

I have three children ages 18, 11, 6. I am an alcoholic in recovery for 13 years. I’ve dealt with family and marriage abuse, and dysfunction. I had stage 3 breast cancer in 2018 at the age of 38, survived it and multiple surgeries. I have taken care of my parents: a stepfather who has stage 4 cancer and my mother who has Alzheimer’s. All of these obstacles came with times of fearlessness that I was not aware of at the time. These times of life also came with a very conscious time of fearlessness as well. I have left a job I was at for 14 years to start over at a new company and grown myself professionally and personally through it all. I am thankful for every lesson and opportunity that came from these situations.
